In 2006 I was in a show called “The Cowgirl Play,” and a song was written for my character. To this day I don’t know if the song was eventually cut from the final production because it didn’t fit the show, or because I just flat out refused to sing it.
Anyway, five years later, I finally sang the song live in front of the “Weird and Awesome” audience accompanied by original songwriter and guitarist Rick Miller.
EDIT: I was not the one who uploaded the video of the performance, and now it has been taken down. Can’t say I’m sad about that.
