The Panel Jumper Live – Chapter IV

Join us for our fourth episode celebrating the magic of sequential storytelling – comic books! Produced in collaboration with West of Lenin, this one-night gala features the talents of nerd-rock pioneer Kyle Stevens, better known as the internationally recognized singer/songwriter Kirby Krackle! Director/playwright Andrew Shanks (Ghost Light Theatricals Battle of the Bards XI Winner) offers up a newly commissioned short play probing the unexamined life of daikaiju performers with MAN IN SUIT; SketchFest Seattle headliners and Best of Fest trio, Day Job, share their inimitable brand of physical comedy, heartwarmingly bizarre interactions and pigeons. We’ll also screen an all-new Panel Jumper episode devoted to a tragic chapter in the history of Batman and Robin! Take part in a special live recording with the crew of the Perfect Bound Podcast featuring a special comic book industry guest. We’ll close out the evening with a steaming cup of Café au Lait Olé wherein she’ll tarry with tribbles and deliver some light-brewed burlesque guaranteed to take us WHERE NO ONE HAS GONE BEFORE. Industry guest Tatiana Gill charmed us with her humor and devotion to body-positive comics.

Due to… ahem… technical difficulties, the live podcast with Tatiana Gill was not recorded. However, we invited her back for one of our regular recording sessions. Click the picture to listen to that.

Andrew Shanks’ “Man In Suit” taught us all about daikaiju

Kirby Krackle brought the house down with his eloquent tunes.

Day Job entertained the masses.

Cafe au Lait Ole closed out the show with a performance rivaling that of anything on Rigel 5.
